World Thinking Day gives girls a chance to celebrate international friendships and also reminds us all that Girl Scouts of the USA is part of a global communityone of 144 countries with Girl Guides and Girl Scouts organizations.
Troops that would like to sponsor a booth at the Thinking Day event should plan and prepare a booth highlighting a foreign country. Specify your country of choice when you register for a table/booth by calling the registration hotline at 800-594-5677 or 432-550-2688 ext 309. Troops should organize activities from the chosen country with a special focus on the importance of water native to that country. If you need to set up your booth early, you can do so on Friday, February 22, 2008. Please contact Sarena Sullivan at 432-934-1105 to set up a time that the building can be opened for you.
