Girl Scouts of the Permian Basin is a volunteer-driven nonprofit organization that relies on the support of many partners to make the dream of serving “every girl, everywhere” possible. With your support, together, we can enable girls in the Permian Basin to realize their dreams and be tomorrow’s leaders in business, sports, government, science, education, or in the arts. Every charitable contribution, large or small, makes programming accessible to more girls. All donations stay right here and provide girls, leaders, and our overall Council with operational funding needed to continue the Girl Scout program in the Permian Basin.

Are you looking for a way to honor a special person in your life? Throughout the years we all have had people who have touched our lives in special ways. Say thank you in a meaningful way by making a contribution to Girl Scouting in their honor.

Building Blocks For Camp Mitre Peak

This is your opportunity to purchase a brick that will take its place as part of a bricked gathering place in front of the Kiva at Camp Mitre Peak. Money raised from the sale of these bricks will go into an account to maintain and update the camp. By purchasing one or more Building Blocks you will be making an investment in girls and ensuring CMP remains a special place of great fun and memories for years to come. As a counselor, staff member, camper, or someone who just appreciates the beauty of Camp Mitre Peak, you can be part of its future. Pass on this unique outdoor experience and the special memories it creates.

The bricks come in two different sizes and range in price from $125 to $250. The 4" x 8" brick has room for three lines of text. The 8" x 8" size has room for 6 lines of text. Each line can hold a maximum of 20 characters, including spaces and punctuation marks. Consider getting together with friends or family to purchase a brick.

What can you put on your brick?

• Individual names
• Group names (e.g. “Camp Staff 2004”)
• A memorable quote, poem, or a wish for the future
• A memorial or an honorarium

Corporate Partnerships

Girl Scouts of the Permian Basin provides many opportunities for local businesses to help girls succeed and a build stronger community. Through event sponsorships, corporate gifts, professional services, and in-kind donations, businesses not only support the Girl Scout program but also gain visibility in the Permian Basin community.

Matching Corporate Gifts

Many companies will match your individual contribution to a nonprofit organization. Make your contribution go twice as far! Check with the personnel office where you work to see if your employer matches individual gifts.

In-Kind Giving

Instead of a monetary donation, you may want to consider donating a tangible gift, whether it be contributions of technology, office furniture, auction items for events, or items that can be use by girls for programs. Our Wish List is updated frequently and reflects some of our current needs.
