Safe & Successful Sale Tips

• Girls should participate in choosing program activities and setting goals.
  
  
• Girls should practice good selling techniques and rehearse what to say
  to customers. Review important sale dates, flavors of cookies and price.
  
  
• Ensure your daughter is a registered member of Girl Scouts. Only registered Brownie through Senior Girl Scouts may participate in the sale.
  
  
• Sign a parent permission slip showing permission for participation in the sale and accepting financial responsibility for cookies sold by your daughter.
  
  
• Help your daughter develop a customer list including family, friends, neighbors, your co-workers, and others. Be sure to save the cookie order form from year to year as a reference!
  
  
• Review safety tips with your daughter:
  
  
• Always sell with a buddy
  
• Do not enter the home of strangers
  
• Use safe pedestrian practices
  
• Do not carry large amounts of money and never take money to school
  
• Never sell after dark unless at a Cookie Shop
