Facility Rentals

Camp Mitre Peak offers a wide variety of meeting space and housing options from sheltered cabins to open primitive tent sites. In addition, your group can plan onsite activities or explore the surrounding area attractions, such as Big Bend National Park, Chihuahuan Desert Research Institute, Chinati Foundation, Fort Davis National Historic Site, Marfa Mystery Lights or McDonald’s Observatory to name a few. Onsite activities can include archery, birdwatching, hiking, horseshoe pitching, horseback riding, outdoor cooking, rappelling, stargazing, swimming, or volleyball, depending on availability. Some activities have additional fees attached. If needed, an administration office with phones, fax, copier and high speed internet service is available.

Reservations are required and are handled on a first-come, first-served basis. See Camp Mitre Peak Reservation Request.

  From business retreats to a wedding to a family reunion, we can customize a rental package just for your group. Affordable lodging rates start at $12.50 per person per night. Meeting space, dining options and various onsite activities are available for a fee.
  
  
• TAX EXEMPT ORGANIZATIONS
  
  From church youth camp to school field trip to staff retreat, we can customize a rental package just for your group. Affordable lodging rates start at $5.00 to $7.50 per person per night. Meeting space, dining options and various onsite activities range from $2.50 to $250.00 depending on your group’s needs.

DEPOSITS

A non-refundable deposit equal to one-half of total fee is required at time of confirmed reservation. Deposits can be paid by credit card, check or money order made payable to Girl Scouts of the Permian Basin.

Remaining fee is due 2 weeks before event.
