Program Goals
The Girl Scout program is based on the Girl Scout Promise and Law and reflects the
interests and needs of todays girls. It provides a variety of opportunities and offers age appropriate activities while encouraging a progression of skill development and responsibility within the different age levels. Our unique experiences allow girls to develop leadership and decision-making skills as they progress through the program.
All program activities are based on the Four Program Goals that help girls:
- Develop their full potential
- Relate to others with increasing understanding, skill, and respect
- Develop values to guide their actions and provide the foundations for sound decision-making
- Contribute to the improvement of society through the use of their abilities
and leadership skills, while working in cooperation with others
